One of the downsides of a freelancer’s life is not having fun things like Secret Santa. Ok, I was sometimes a little hot and cold about them but ultimately they were fun! And generated office camaraderie and usually a little hilarity too…

So, not having done one for yonks, I was more than happy to take part in a Secret Santa blogger challenge organised by Very.co.uk. We were each given a blogger to buy for and had £20 to spend (see the Christmas gift page here). And my gift arrived at the weekend! A brilliant pair of gloves, just in the nick of time for the cold snap. And all the more perfect because they fit like a dream (and because I have already lost a pair I just bought!) – thankyou, Secret Santa, you chose perfectly.

I was Secret Santa for Lisette over at lisetteloves.com and having perused her blog it soon became obvious how into cooking she is, so I chose somethinge cooking related – I won’t reveal what I chose as she has yet to post it. But I hope you like it, Lisette!
