A little precursor to my forthcoming Christmas gift guide, here are the things I’m shopping right now…

1. Checks don’t seem to be going anyway this winter and some of the best scarves I’ve seen (just £19.99 and fantastically oversized) are from Zara. I just bought the grey & black one and am thrilled.

2. I’ve also been eyeing up this Franco Ferrari beauty on Shopbop.

3 My friend Molly from Selfish Mother tweeted me this coat (also Zara) – it’s just like the Ganni one I mentioned as inspo in my Three Ways: Checks piece. I actually tried this on this week – in a size 6 it fitted my shoulders neatly but for me it was quite long, coming down mid-calf, which is fine, but just a bit longer that I would normally wear. Still very tempted though…

4. These fabulous animal rings are available on the just-launched-today NOWSEEN.com. A sister company to gemstone company Gemporia (who I wrote about here), the gemstones are responsibly sourced and the pieces come in at brilliant prices. As well as the animal pieces (I’ve been wearing my eagle ring every day since receiving it) there are stacking rings, gothic cocktail rings and more. I think I’ll need at least one more Wild & Wonderful piece…

5. My animal obsession continues and I love this unicorn plate from the Anthropologie – it’s part of an A-Z set, but is sold separately. Not online yet, but soon.

6. I bought this Burt’s Bee’s face wash the other day as they’d run out of my usual brand, and its sweet orange scent is a lovely start to the morning.

7. Totally succumbed to the celeb hysteria and bought myself a set of these EOS lipbalms from Amazon in the hope that I will always have one of these littles eggs to hand when I need one!

8. Better late than never I’m loving my first pair of cutout boots and am developing a slight obsession. There’s a really good selection on Ark, in particular this pair for £44.99, which are very similar to the pair I already have but I just love! Can never get too much of  a good thing!
