Back from our festive Scottish travels, we’re now getting set for the big Oz trip. I’m simplifying matters by sticking to a holiday uniform of cutoffs, birkies and loose tops. And, of course, my lovely new camera…

I’m planning that most days I’ll be wearing some version of this outfit, apart from the wedding and possible night outs, which I’m solving with two Free People dresses and a pair of their minimal lace-ups. Plus I’ll have a travel outfit of jeans, comfy jumper, trainers and leather jacket and, of course, a bikini – to be showcased in my next post!

I’m  feeling dread and excitement (in unequal parts) about our trip. Tough long-haul flights and quite a bit of skipping around towns once there is massively outweighed by the prospect of new places and fun for us and the little one. It feels great to be doing some proper travelling again and the magical feeling of getting out there and seeing the world again.
