So yesterday, the first day of LFW (as well as Valentine’s Day, as well as Game of Cards new season premiere) I dressed down nice and comfy (I am living in these Ash skate shoes btw) and headed to the Freemason’s Hall for the FelderFelder show…

It felt pretty quiet, but I’d arrived early, and the reception soon filled up with lots of gorgeous fashion people. The Freemason’s Hall is quite baroque and impressive and a beautiful backdrop for high fashion. The show was buzzing and the models sashayed along the ground-level catwalk in a palette of white, burgundy, beige and black in rock n’ roll feather skirts and elegant cutout backs with some cool cave-girl chic looks and 60s bright coloured sunglasses. All in all, very cool, here’s a few pics!

After the show, I headed to Somerset House to shoot some street style for the Free People blog (my shots should be up on their blog next week, so will link to them then) despite the elements of harsh wind and rain. A lovely coincidence – I photographed Sophia from Girl in Menswear who’s on the Fiorelli #LFWHang style panel with me next week and as we got chatting we discovered we were at the same school in Copenhagen when we were little! We had coffee and then, my hands so cold from the dreadful weather, I headed for some gorgeous blogger respite at the fabled Apartment run by Abi Marvel.

(I was super organised and managed to get some outfit shots in before I left, as I never remember to ask anyone to take my picture when out. A big thank you to George at Asda who kindly sent me this lovely little lace blouse and Wonderfit skinnies to wear, so comfy!)

Once ensconced in warmth and surrounded by friendly faces at The Apartment, I refuelled on delicious croissants and parma ham and took part in a fun customisation of a pair of Timberland boots. I’ve got a load of gorgeous photos to show you, will post those soon, I promise.

Tomorrow, I head back in for a couple of showrooms and more street style. I would have organised more shows, but unfortunately a really cool blogger opportunity (shooting the Fashion Scout shows with the new Panasonic Lumix camera) fell through at the last minute which was a bit of a bummer to be honest. Anyway, onwards and upwards! Let’s pray for better weather tomorrow!
