Love the end of day light in these photos. The sparkles and handmade feather eyelashes are by the fabulous Maddy of It’s In Your Dreams who I met at Wilderness… She has an incredible line in lashes, face embellishment and bindi patterns – better than any I’ve seen before – and beautiful temporary tattoos which she illustrates herself. This lady is going places, catch her while you can – Cara Delevigne is already a fan. In a nutshell, it’s an utterly idyllic, family friendly camping and chillaxing mecca (chillax is now officially a word, did you know?). The gorgeous river swimming aside, half a field at least dedicated to the Sanctuary/Spa area with every possible alternative treatment plus yoga tent. Posh foodie tents from the likes of St John and Moro, mask-making corners and more. And this is before all the bands and DJs have got going. I was gutted to leave, especially as pals were just due to arrive, but catch our train we did, thanks to a last minute hitch-hike from the site by the super nice ‘Meatball Man’, Jez Felwick of the The Bowler gourmet balls.
