Autumnal Hues

The Library of Fragrance | Hobbs boots | Fiorelli bag | UK fashion blog | Stylonylon

I’m ready to let go. Of summer that is, and welcome in cooler autumn days with a sartorial army of tan. I have the blazer, the trousers and now the accessories…

The most grown-up beautifully soft pair of boots I’ve ever owned by Hobbs, and a spacious ship-shaped tote from Fiorelli, which, truth be told, I’ve had my heart set on ever since seeing it at the press day however many months ago now. And to perfectly complement such back-to-school prim and proper pieces are these delicate hand-bottled scents by A Library of Fragrance which can be mixed and layered up.

They’re fresh and not at all too sweet and launching in the UK this Tuesday. The New York brand already exists outside Europe as Demeter Fragrance Library, and 28 fragrances (£15 a bottle) will be available at Boots and 101 on the UK website. Worth investigating, while my scents here are Orange Blossom, Rain and Clean Skin there are all sorts of crazy-sounding ones like Pizza and Play-Doh!

In other news, I’ve upgraded my laptop which, after a very dodgy trackpad and over-stuffed hard drive, should make the art of blogging much easier and faster. Despite that, things will be a little quieter here over the next two weeks as tomorrow I head into the Topshop office to join the editorial team covering London Fashion Week – both excited and trepidatious, especially as I haven’t worked in an office for nearly seven years now! Eek, wish me luck…
