It was so much fun hosting an #olympusPENgeneration event last week to celebrate the launch of the new Olympus Pen E-PL7. I invited five of my favourite blogger gals along to try out the camera…
For a few hours, we turned the Olympus Image Space gallery into a little blogger haven full of mouth-watering food, gorgeous clothes and accessories, flower crown making and nail art with a flat lay and outfit post area. The girls were given their cameras as they arrived and I was thrilled to hear a collective sigh and delighted ‘Oh wows’ as they turned them on.
The E-PL7 (you can pre-order now!) is the latest Pen model and features built-in Wifi (just like the big sister Pen E-P5) which means you can transfers pictures straight to you phone and use your phone (or tablet) as a remote control – perfect for bloggers! There are a few new features involving art filters and dial functions as well which I will update you on in more detail after my E-PL7 workshop at Park Cameras in Burgess Hill next month.
It was such fun watching the girls snap selfies, arrange flat-lays, adorn themselves with flower crowns, tuck into nibbles and dress up for outfit shots. Several of my favourite brands got involved with the event and goody bag and a huge thanks must go to all of them – including Free People, Boden Clothing, The Flower Appreciation Society, Beauty Spotter, Elizabeth Dunn, Bouton, Kadalys and my fab catering genius friend China Brooks-Basto (of pop-up China & Ben’s).
ps. This is probably the longest post I have ever done! Get ready for a photo extravaganza…

A huge thankyou to Olympus for putting on such a fabulous event! Can’t wait for the next one… As you all probably know by now, Stylonylon is a UK ambassador for Olympus
