The Sunday Edit focus is clear cut. Cutoffs for slouching around in the continuing heat, but still easy to cover up your look with a cardy or jumper. New summer style light summer slippers from one of my fave brands, Mahabis. Remember the grey classics from last year. The new neoprene mesh is super sleek and looks extra good with contrasting rubber soles. Lots of colourways to choose from.
Navy and denim find natural complements in nude (or natural!) leather – yes, I took the plunge on this A.P.C bag and so glad I did. It’s just perfect and seems to go with everything. I bought it from German site mytheresa.com – lovely shopping experience with particularly nice packaging – as nowhere else seems to be selling them UK based at the moment. There is one left in Liberty, in a slightly darker leather, but it’s quite scratched, but you could argue a discount I discovered. Although they won’t go less than 10% and the price was still cheaper at My Theresa.
And white. Finding the perfect white tee is one of those eternal quests. This one is by The White Company who do have some very high quality styles. It’s all about how you wear yours. Tight or slouchy… The nail varnish, haven’t been wearing much lately but really liked the bottle design of this limited edition collaboration between Marc Cain and uslu airlines. There’s five in the set, am sure you will see on Instagram under #mccoloursplash… And last on the beauty is the fulsome MDM Flow mascara (available at THEN AND NOW SHOP) created by a London College of Fashion graduate, handmade in the UK and not tested on animals. One for when you want your lashes nice, big and showy. Another goodie for the beauty collection…
