Just a quickie in between the chaos of real life (our moving date has been postponed and we’re in a horrible kind of limbo, hence the somewhat ashen tired-looking face!). But thick knits, good pleather finds and cute trainers are providing moments of comfort… 

Addicted as I am to my Stan Smiths (the velcro version, baby), these little blue classics by heritage brand Norman Walsh, new in from the M&S Best of British collection (available soon, will check when!) brought a smile to my face. Good fit and sweet to look at, I’d never considered a trainer by M&S, but there you go! Great grey knit, nice and substantial, with straight cut faux leather jeans are a mix that can go either way. Think it’d look just as nice with heels. I was going to bling up the bag more, but subtle felt better, as did the warm scarf around my neck as we are plunged into rainy, colder days. Yes, I have just turned on the central heating! You?
