A rather winter inspired, grown-up edit this Sunday. After a week off the blog, immersed in a de-cluttering project extraordinaire and packing up the house, I’m feeling a bit renewed in spirit. Cleaner, fresher, clearer…

I’ve also been on a little bag spend of late (dipping into the ‘furniture fund’ I’ve been saving up for the new house as the reality of the house move has dragged on over the summer… Sorry industrial style coffee table, you’ll just have to wait!). So yet another A.P.C. baby to add to what I’m now calling my collection. I love the shape of this, the Edith, definitely one for party nights out and a subtle nod to the trapezoid silhouette of the Chloe Faye – though if I ever was going to fall prey to the Chloe spell it’d be for this little cutie.

Continuing on my mini label binge, is a little winter prep in the form of an oversized Acne scarf, lambswool so we’re not talking an absolute fortune here. Classic in grey, can’t go wrong. The Topshop Mary Jane’s which I haven’t had enough of a chance to wear yet, and which look just perfect with these wide-legged jeans – high-waisted (cropped) flares, also Topshop. The True Grace candle came from my visit to the Houseology press day (furniture fund is going straight on this gorgeous table for the kitchen) and has scented our chaotic surround of boxes with calm and the moisturiser is by French brand Kadalys – quite interesting to me to see what I’ll actually keep out as essentials when everything has to be packed, this is a great day cream.

One more day of packing and then we move on Tuesday. I’m not sure how chaotic things will be the other end, but it’s possible things will be quiet for another week, especially as London Fashion Weeks starts Friday. I’m dipping in with a relaxed first day – a show and catching up with blogger pals – before heading to the Topshop Showspace to work for the Topshop InsideOut  blog through the weekend.
