So close to Christmas and the weather is unseasonally warm, so less of the Michelin Man coats and more of the thin blazers over chunky jumpers which is an autumn-adapted-for-this-winter look I love…
Plus still warm enough to tolerate breezy style jeans, like these three-tier flared babes. Can’t get enough of this Rachel Comey-inspired denim by Closed. The jumper is the MiH bird knit which is like this perfect irregular bobble-stitched 70s style knit. I sized up, maybe one size too much, but still good.
Feeling a lot calmer today, after a mini Christmas hosting and house sorting (still working on the spare rooms, can you believe it? Also my office corner is coming together!) panic yesterday. Magically averted by the arrival of this fab MOA Fortifying bath potion. Peppermint and fennel tingly on the skin, shocking me out of my mental state into something much more positive and gung-ho – couldn’t recommend more!
We’ve got afternoon drinks and then a sing-song party tonight and I’m all revved up. Plus the sun is shining which is lovely, if a bit weird. No complaints though! Hope you’re getting all Christmas set? I’m ticking off my list – just a few more presents, Christmas stocking to prepare, cake to cook – but feeling calm and happy about it. Why is this time of year such a complicated mix of emotions sometimes, ranging from ecstatic elation to whimpering mess. Ok, hyperbole perhaps, but you know what I mean. Just six more sleeps, eeeeek!

Ooooh you look fantastic, and I love the entire outfit. I adore how British folk say six sleeps! It sounds so much more romantic and cool. We just say 6 days until X haha! I love the aesthetic of your blog and I’m so glad I’ve found it as your writing is lovely! adaatude.com
Thanks so much, that’s lovely to hear! Yes ‘sleeps’ is a funny one 🙂 come back soon cx
