So turns out the way to wear a long, slouchy knit is with a pair of flares. Mid-summer we may be, today’s overcast skies and drizzle has me thinking a little on the cosy side and what will happen come September…
[ezcol_1half]When things get a little chill, and you crave a little warmth. Soft knit over a comfy vest is definitely the way to go – this one by my fave Danish brand Gestuz (new for autumn). Excited to be trying out in advance some new shapewear (although this really is a misnoma, because it’s not like any shapewear I’ve ever tried!) from Wacoal, launching in the autumn. The vest top I’m wearing is soft, extremely thin, feels barely there and no underwire, overly tight bits or compression. It just feels like a comfy, stretchy vest. With benefits. Those being a nicely shaped chest that moulds to your shape. I love anything nude and can imagine myself wearing under tees too. [/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Great discovery in blogger favourite Storets which does jeans that don’t need to be shortened for us shorties. I bought two pairs – kind of a more ‘fashion’ than I usually do – and really pleased as clearly cut for the more petite lady. With the price too. I have some big photo pieces coming up – just need to get on with the editing. More Maldives and Port Eliot coming soon! Speaking of which, I’m hosting a travel photography bloggers workshop on August 11 with Jay for Olympus if you’re interested in coming. There are some places left – check it out here. And a big thankyou to everyone who made it along to my Port Eliot photo talk with Hush! [/ezcol_1half_end]

Ah thanks lovely! Yes, the 17 is really my fave I think! 🙂 xx
I’ve been toying with buying some flares (I have the opposite problem to you: being a tad over 6′ most jeans are too short for me, so I have to take my options where I can) and now all I need is the big slouchy knit to go with them. You’re really rocking the rust shades, too.
Oh wow, I can imagine! The opposite problem completely 🙂 Yes, loving the rust for autumn, eek! 🙂
