It’s the best way, mixing old & new, hi & low for comfy with a twist of chic (at least that’s what I’m going for!)…
[ezcol_1half]This coat and jeans have been winter and skinny staples for over a year now and so I know how they look and feel from every angle. Clothes you love and keep close hand for easy grabbing. Oh and the hat too, a tenner from H&M which has a personality all of it own and these fishermen style caps are back with us strong for the colder months. New in, a good basic roll neck from Gestuz and two new loves this month, Miista shoes for cool gal boots and Meli Melo for their stunning Sicilian inspired bucket. You know how I love a bucket…[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]And the structured, flat-bottomed style, reminiscent of Jane Birkin and her baskets, even more perfect than I could have imagined. Plus the weave detailing on the outside is just the right side of texture. Speaking of which, texturising with one main piece is a good way to go this winter, letting a statement faux do all the talking while you get on with the basics of minimal dressing for the rest of your outfit. No need to complicate matters – I’ll be wearing skinnies and crop flares with jumpers for til March, just to warn you in advance! [/ezcol_1half_end]
