Christmas is upon, fast and furious it seems! December has just whizzed by. You’ve probably done most of your shopping now, but as ever I wanted to share some recent favourites…
By Sarah London is a conscious skincare brand run by two sisters ticking all the boxes – the gentle plant-based products are certified organic, vegan, cruelty free. Sister Sarah and Lauren (Lauren’s leukaemia recovery and the need for high-quality, natural products was the brand’s starting point) make a point of listing all the ingredients on the front label so you can easily see what’s in the product.

I’ve been using the gorgeous body oil, face oil and lip balm – these three products come in a gift set. Luscious and without a strong scent, they apply soothingly to the skin. See more at bysarahlondon.com and if you hop over to Amazon now, there’s still time to order the By Sarah body oil in time for Christmas!

Make Your Own Hat
I love knitting and I don’t do enough of it! So this month, I’ve managed to finish one of Wool and the Gang’s brilliantly easy beanies – this is the grey one – and am planning to get stuck into another, this lovely cream ribbed hat! Really they are so quick, just a couple of hour long sessions will do it!
Also if you’re last minute shopping, the Wool and the Gang E-gift card seems like an excellent solution! Although if you’re not a knitter then this lovely cashmere beanie from Cos is a winner!
I also wanted to mention the litte Olympus film point & shoot Mju ii – the one with the 2.8 lens is really one of the best point and shoot film cameras out there. They’re not super cheap at £150-£200 (different models come in much less) but can be easily picked up on eBay (comes in champagne and black) if you’re looking for a easily pocketable film camera. I just don’t use mine enough – must shoot more!

Beautiful Kitchenware
The gorgeous blooms (by the brilliant flower letterbox company Bloom & Wild) are in a new Limited Edition in periwinkle 3 pt Falcon Enamelware jug – I think anything from Falconware makes a wonderful present any time of year! I have a great set of overproof dishes (you can still get these in time for Christmas!) and a couple of coffee cups which Gus loves for his hot chocolates.
Also in the picture above is the ever so pretty porcelain tea infuser from Jing Tea which is such a lovely addition to any teaware collection.

The Compass rings from my jewellery collaboration with Bianca Jones Jewellery are such lovely pieces to wear – they’re statement enough that I usually wear just one on its own! In silver and gold-plated they’re great in a bigger size to wear on your first fingers. Maybe one for Valentine’s Day!

Those rings are gorgeous.
I love that oil gift set! I’m going to have to see if they sell it in the U.S. It would also be a great Valentine’s Day gift for her, guys!
