After such a lovely response to the leopard print coat I featured in my How To Dress For Autumn post…
I’ve been thinking a little more on the place this classic but maybe not always classy print has in our wardrobes. I admit I’ve shied away from wearing leopard print myself for fear of treading to close to tacky, but that’s because I think I’ve seen too many bad examples. But checking out these choice leopard pieces from designer site Avenue 32 has left me thinking it’s all about choosing the right piece. Obviously a piece that works with your personality – I probably couldn’t pull off the cat-eye sunnies, this stye has just never suited me, nor perhaps blogger favourite the leopard Chamonix eared hat, as much as I’d love too – but a mini 3.1 Philip Lim Pashli or clutch, I think so!
While my thoughts keep coming back to autumn, it’s worth remembering that we are still mid-summer and that some of us even still have sunny holidays ahead – yes, hello Ibiza this September, can’t wait! So I’m also on the look out for bikinis – it turns out Avenue 32 also stocks one of my favourite swimwear brands, Heidi Klein. Suddenly thinking this dark orange swimsuit would make the perfect partner to a pair of leopard sunnies – rawr! How about you? What are your feelings on leopard print?

I know what you mean sometimes there is a line of overdoing animal print that can look a bit tacky but can help to love it. It’s a bit timeless as well 🙂
Yes, definitely timeless. And now I’m seeing it’s going to be everywhere this autumn! Have double leopard on the brain since a fellow blogger mentioned it – mind blowing! 🙂
Yes, I think you’re right about the timeless, leopard has pretty much proved itself through the decades!
