A contraction of MONA FOMA, which stands for the Museum of Old & New Art and Festival of Music & Art, the five-day long arts festival MOFO was the reason for our trip to Tasmania…
The husband was taking part in The Ada Project, a music/art project by London artist Conrad Shawcross (and which got a great write-up, 4 out of 5 stars no less, on The Guardian!). Due to rehearsals and daily performances we were pretty much tied to the harbour capital of Hobart, but that was no chore…
So pretty, with lots of amazing restaurants and food (see my post on that here), plus a ferry hop to the incredible art museum MONA and the fantastic Salamanca Market on Saturday. I took so many photos, the editing’s been a bit overwhelming but here are a selection… Hope you enjoy them! The whole trip was incredible, and so amazing to have knocked January on the head, is the worst of winter over?
Now that we’re back, once the jetlag has been battled (almost there, though Gus’s sleeping is scarily all over the place he’s in fine form!) just back to blogging – obvs LFW is coming up but it coincides with Gus starting at nursery, settling in days and on, so I think I’ll just be heading over to Somerset House for some street style snaps a couple of afternoons and popping into the fab Glam blogger suite…!
Anyway, happy Friday, bring on a relaxing weekend, I’m thinking yoga, lots of yoga and dreaming of going on a retreat. Know of any good ones in the UK?
