Completely taken by these dyed blue lilies and thought they’d go swimmingly with a few other blue bits and bobs in my life this week…
Just the most gorgeous soft knit by British brand Needle – founder Lizzie was a former knitwear product developer at L.K.Bennett I just found out, which is a nice coincidence, given my last post on the LBD by LKB dress event plus the fact I threw this little L.K.Bennett notebook into the mix for its oil painting daubs of blue. The knits, designed by former L.K.Bennett designer Emma, are made in Italy and are just the most beautifully classic, loveable designs.
The blue mohair scarf I picked up for a couple of quid at a Saturday market on Kingsland Road. This Saturday I’ll be heading to The Stylist’s Rail Autumnal Wardrobe Wonderment event at the Hoxton Hotel for a bit of seasonal shopping. And in particular, I’ll be picking up my latest purchase, this gorgeous clutch by Icelandic handbag designer Daughter of Jon.
The rest of the week holds a little more night shenanigans than usual – tomorrow’s Bugged Out’s 20th Birthday Party at the Bloomsbury Ballrooms and Friday’s art/music installation The ADA Project (this is free and on until the end of the month). Will let you know how it all goes!
