I had my head turned at the Karen Millen AW15 press day earlier this year, I won’t lie. As Grazia put it “a 90s comeback queen” and boy have they nailed it. Not with the 90s, but with the 70s…
Shearling coats, polo necks and culottes in all the right autumn shades of mulled wine, rust and cafe latté that we love to embrace so much as the cooler months light upon us. This is probably my third pair of denim culottes this year, ahem, but I’m loving the fit and the yellow stitch detailing. Obviously they will come up slightly shorter on the ankle if you’re anything taller than 5ft2!
The jumper I have completely fallen in love with and already subjecting it to way too much wear – an ASOS find. The dark khaki is the prefect refreshing step out of summer and looks so perfect with any shade of denim. And my Grenson loafers which I dropped a bomb on but plan to get a lot of wear out as they really are the perfect autumn shoe. They come up a little big too so planning to wear with socks and tights.
Anyway, more pics than words today, we had such lovely light shooting at a flat location for an Olympus project this week and I love how Net-A-Porter the backdrop cupboards are! Bear with me over the new few days, as no nursery for Gus so we’re mainly plowtering round London, praying for the rain to hold off!
