Free People Pop-Up At Selfridges This Summer

Stylonylon - UK fashion blog - Free People Pop-Up

These are just two of the pieces from the new Free People pop-up at Selfridges – the first time Free People has set up shop in the UK since its online launch November last year. And aren’t they just perfection?

I completely fell for the Free People ethos when I first discovered it. It was one of those ‘Ah, I’ve come home…’ feelings but also a ‘I wanna be that girl…’ – I’m a sucker for the free wheelin’, wild at heart, Californian dream driving out to the desert under the night stars with its implicit throwback to 70s style and vintage influences.

If this is your thing, then it’s hard not to resonate with the campaigns featuring super-likeable models like Daisy Lowe and Lily Donaldson, and one of the coolest models I know, Napa Valley’s Michele Ouellet (check her blog kissser.com). Michele recently teamed up her wine label Lorenza Rose with Free People with a tent at the new Napa Valley Bottle Rock festival (check out more of Michele’s festival looks on the Free Peopke blog).

The Free People pop-up (all white-washed wood, metal frames and paper flowers) is open until July 28th and you’ll find it on the ground floor at Selfridges. I can’t wait to pop along when I get back.
